Get Tweets and Likes at Viral Content Buzz
For too long there has been a ‘something for nothing’ mentality in the world of online content. People expecting writers to work for free with no byline, marketers that want a post promoting their site, or a mention on your front page for a link buried somewhere unseen on their own. It has been a real cause of frustrating for years.
But lately a new movement has been emerging. Thanks to social media and the way it pushes the idea of sharing, we have a nicer system showing itself. Now, we are seeing more sites using a ‘I scratch your back, you scratch mine’ kind of thinking.
One of my favorite sites within this spirit is a fairly newer one called Viral Content Buzz.
The idea is to get shares by giving shares. Every time you share out another person’s post or project from their directory on Facebook or Twitter, you get ‘credits’. These are good for bumping up the visibility of your post and getting more likes or tweets on your own content.
Nothing is automated, so only you share content. That means there will be none of this “posting on your behalf” stuff that you find with other social media apps. Only the content you choose to share will be posted, as you request it.
How To Sign Up
Signing up for the service is the easy part. Just go to the site and open your account. Once you do, you can set up your social media accounts to sync with Viral Content Buzz by clicking on Settings > Social Accounts. Once there, you will find both a Twitter and Facebook button, both of which use official authentication protocols to get you logged on.
From there you can go to Add Projects to put up your own work. Just put in a unique description with each upload, and submit it with a URL, title and category selection. For those who want it to retweet them each time it is used, select the ‘Retweet me’ option during this process.
‘Project Budget’ is how much you are willing to spend in credits on the project itself, so you control how much it is shared. Those with more need for sharing can give higher budget amounts at this point, and it can be changed at any time.
That’s it…easy, right?

Pretty cool, Ann! The problem is finding the time, patience (and remembering the passwords!) to effectively engage these type of “helper sites.” Lately, with my busy schedule, I’m looking for more or less “automated” solutions that can be left to run on their own.
If I could put time in a bottle!
Blog On and Prosper, Ann – and have a great weekend!

With any automated solution, the quality leaves much to be desired. So you either engage properly or don’t do it – that’s my opinion!
Nice post. I was checking constantly this blog and I am impressed! Extremely useful information specially the last part
I care for such info much. I was looking for this particular information for a very long time. Thank you and good luck.
Dave,
We realize not everyone has the time to share every day and for this reason we will eventually add the option to purchase credits. This will be the solution for people that are short on time and this won’t compromise our quality control.
Thanks Ann. I came across social buzz this week but not viral content buzz. I’ll check it out!
