Getting More Links – Top Tips for Bloggers
In an industry where your content is king, bloggers need to make the most of every opportunity to promote there articles and valuable contributions. Link building is the process of acquiring inbound hyperlinks to a website or webpage in this case your blog or blog content. The more links you have coming in to your website the better the results achieved in organic search, this in turn means the more visitors you should receive and retain as subscribers and contributors to your blog.
Helping you to succeed in your linking campaign, I’d like to suggest some of the best link building methods used by bloggers to promote their blog and increase the visibility to potential readers.
Find Interviewees
Talk to and interview industry experts, people will quite often be happy to talk to someone from their industry about related subjects of interest. As you are reading this I assume you may well dabble in blogging, you may know some other bloggers who have authority and a high number of regular readers who would be willing to conduct an interview for your blog, this method is beneficial for both yourself and the blogger as you may get a link from the interviewee.
Run promotions
Everyone loves something that is free, or even the chance of getting something for free. Organising some kind of give away or contest will encourage your readers to participate in the contest, in turn they may spread your competition by linking to it from their profile on social network sites like Twitter and Facebook. Popular promotions could include writing a short article about a related subject, or creative works it just depends on your blog niche.
Social networking
Take full advantage of the growth in social networking, in my last point i mentioned that readers may link to your promotion via social networking / bookmarking. This can be helped along by adding bookmarking tools to each post encouraging the reader to share the content on social sites.
Article distribution and guest blogging
Sending out articles is a tried and tested practice which has had its share of success over the years. Producing articles and submitting them to popular article sites such as eZine articles will provide a link or two back to your site, often some visitors and if your article is republished additional links as the article grows in popularity.
Create catchy titles
Titles attract a visitor or potential reader of your blog to click or not to click on the content, many of the useful blogs I have contributed to grab my attention and just by reading the title I want to read more. Providing enough information to be useful and interesting and not irrelevant is important.

Article marketing will be one of the best, but you must have a system in place for a successful campaign..

Guest blogging is a great way to get your links on legitimate blogs but as for article marketing wouldn’t you think it has taken a big hit since the recent Panda Google update?
Commenting on related articles in the industry is a great way to get your name out there and start garnering some links, albeit most no-followed, but some can be followed. Plus it shows your enthusiasm for the topic at hand.

Guestposting is probably one of the best link building tactics for bloggers. Not only are you creating quality backlinks to your site, but you’re also providing content to a totally new audience which may join your audience if your content is great enough.
Interviews from peers in your relevant industry are great for blog content, perfect for adding a good size post to your blog and good reading for your fans.
