HoW To DO SeO WeLl And sTuFf!!

(I know some people may take the following advice seriously. Please don’t…)

SEO is the future of everything. By harnessing the power of this tried and tested technique you can dominate the world and make sure your website ranks number one for popular search terms like ‘how to get red wine stains out of upholstery ‘ and ‘Megan Fox in the buff’. SEO will make you literally millions of dollars in revenue and anyone who isn’t using it will probably go out of business quite soon.  The internet is now a huge part of everyone’s lives, and has been since about 2007.

Even old people are using the internet, and would be very well advised to utilise SEO to build authority around their blog and drive traffic to their network of sites.

So how can you do SEO on your own site to make thousands of dollars in revenue every day from the comfort of your own home?

Site Design

First of all, you need to make sure your site looks really cool, if your site isn’t covered in flash animations and colourful lettering, your bounce rate will be through the roof. Make sure you have a really eye catching banner, tonnes of photos and every conceivable social media widget on your site.

Keyword Research

Find the most searched keywords around your brand, and peruse them relentlessly; completely ignore useless long tail terms. The best terms are certainly ones that comprise of only one or two words, since most internet users are lazy and illiterate and thus don’t care for wasting their time typing when they could be on Facebook doing more important stuff.

Competitor Research

When it comes to competitor research, the best method is to shamelessly copy your closest rival. Find out where their best links are coming from and try and get them yourself, even if they are totally irrelevant to your business, it really doesn’t matter – follow the SEO mantra – a link is a link.

Link Building

When it comes to link-building more is more. You need to get as many links out there as quickly possible. It really doesn’t matter how you do this, just get links where you can – comment spamming, hidden text it’s all good. I’ve recently heard a lot of buzz about content farms, these also sound like a great way to get 100’s of links out there ASAP – give it a go!

Social Media

The internet is changing, SEO is now dead and social media rules the roost. Since rankings now don’t matter, you need to find revenue streams in other ways. Use Facebook and Twitter to ENGAGE with you target audience and build ADVOCACY with your brand. Sorted.

usefull and actual tips Joe, thanks. Of course each tip is a craft and requires hard work to master. It’s good you mentioned social media. The recent term “SMO” indicates exactly that; the gravity of a strong presentation of your blog in social networks. Google said that they now take into account links that come from there. Also, link building from strong and quality blogs is a must. A good way for this is guest posting.

I agree with you Joe, those are the basic SEO should incorporate in any site if they want to visible and get higher ranking on SERP. Original and quality content plays most important factor to any site’s success. Thanks for sharing.

I do agree with most of the post , however suggesting or advising others to spam is not what I expected to read … your words ” comment spamming, hidden text it’s all good. ” Not exactly a technique that should be used. (my opinion)

  5. Jeo sorry but I totally Dis-agreed with your post ! site structure must maintain on-page SEO & flash takes time for loading your site which is not in a success of SEO .. and your last point on Social media that SEO is dead : I totally disagree !!

  6. Ross says:

I agree with Shazan. The loading time of your page is very important. If you visit a website that take a long time to load do you sit and wait or look for another resource?

Another thing is in the social media section where you put SEO is dead, what is the point of your post then? :S
