The Power of Keywords
Keywords will significantly boost your ratings in search engine results, since it uses this information to categorize which terms the site is relevant. So focus on your keywords. Keywords in title tag, Keyword in URL and Keyword density in document plays primary role in SEO. Title should be in such a way that it should make the user click your title from the search results.
Always use the ALT and TITLE tag in images. ALT and TITLE tags in [img] tell search engines what the image is about. Not only ALT tag is used to identify images but also for keyword density purposes.
Use the free Google Keyword Tool to get new keyword ideas, they not only help you to find the best keywords but also to find advertiser competition and estimated average CPC.
The Power of Links
One of the best ways to get noticed by search engines is incoming links. Search spider will jump from one page to another with the links in other pages. Link popularity on relevant website will give better visibility to the search engine. Apart from outbound link, try to link within your relevant pages.
Google figures that when one page links to another page and assigns a PageRank. With links on other pages your PageRank will increase. Keep in mind that each individual page have own PageRank. With good content, you will get noticed to get linked. Try for genuine link exchange with relevant websites. Better way for links is to write a guest article and get quality link coming back
Avoid links with SEO spammers as your own ranking will be spoiled by those bad neighborhoods pages. More importantly avoid hidden text or hidden links.
The Power of Content
Content and phrases on your website is Key for the search engine optimization, which makes your site more visible to search engines. The main appetite for search engines are content, content is the one which drives search engine rankings and in turn brings you the visitor. Make sure you have rich content and keywords which repeat (in a natural way). Always remember the phrase “Content is King”.

Content is king as they say. However if you can create content that encourages your audience to interact, then the post grows in stature. Encourage comments if you can. Content is definitely kind. For now, the search engines out a lot of weight on keyword density and inbound links but n one can say that these will always be the major factors for search engines. Content, on the other hand, will probably always be important.

I doing SEO for a large site (20+ pages). What are the best practices in regards to the sub-pages of the site? Should I put keywords for sub-pages, and if yes how similar can they be to my home page keywords? What about description and page title, how long should those be and how similar to the home page? Is there anything else that can be done for SEO optimization?
